Ntl Ftp

For some reason I cant access my FTP from Uni, but my mother can from home. Says I dont have permission to access the folder but Im sure Im using the right password. Plus it worked when I was at home a few days ago.
Very annoying. Any ideas?

Re: Ntl Ftp

you can only access the webspace using FTP over an NTL connection. Browsing to it by HTTP is ok, but you obviously can't change anything that way.

Dammit. How useless.

Re: Ntl Ftp

Well it is an extra layer of security stops your FTP space being hacked.

If you don't want to mess about with extra FTP accounts or webspace, a fairly useful alternative is to get a GMail account and use this: http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm
