Packet Loss

Could anyone suggest any reasons for packet loss between my STB and the local UBR.

I also have post rs errors on four datastreams and Snr varying from 25 to 44 .
Could these be related. Just got off the phone to NTL who suggest they can not

Do you mean four transport streams (out of about 30 or so?)? I can take a look, I need a badly performing Samsung to test something!

I disagree with tech support ;)

So long as the loss doesn't carry on through a trace it's no problems, we'll see what BBK finds, the varying SNR isn't isn't promising, should be approximately even due to sloping amps, etc :)
