Ntl Ambit 250 Modem ??

can the NTL ambit 250 modem connect to pc by both ethernet and usb, does it have both connectors ??

Also, is the 250 the flagship model of ambits, and is it the best model to have if someone wants to get the Ntl 10mb service ???

please advise.

cheers.

Since the removal of the Xbox service it is no longer possible to connect both the usb and Ethernet ports at the same time. If you want to run 2 pc's at the same time then you need a router.

The NTL 250 modem is the best to have for 10 meg.

Re: Ntl Ambit 250 Modem ??

all the Ambit modems can connect by either ethernet or USB, but obviously not at the same time.

I don't have any direct experience, but from reading these forums the 250 model seems to be the one reported as giving the most consistent performance with a 10Mb connection.

<edit> Thanks Bill :)
