Plans for ntl plus?

Sorry if this has already been discussed to death, but I've only just joined the forum. I'm finally thinking about getting a DVD recorder, but have heard that ntl may introduce a service similar to sky+. Can anyone tell me what the latest is on this?

Thanks for that - seems that ntl's normal PR is working and confusing everyone about what they're really going to do.:)
