Had no problems until today, i'm noticing my RDY light on my cable modem occasionally keeps going on/off but my connection is fine i.e. no dropouts
what can be the problem?

Basically, if it ain't broke don't fix it! ;)

Could be a faulty LED, or the connection from the circuitboard to the LED has come loose. Only if you start to lose connection when the RDY light goes out do you need to worry.

what can i do to rectify the problem then mate? please explain about a faulty LED/Circuitboard area

I wouldn't try and even touch the internals of the modem as it doesn't belong to you, ring Technical Support if you think there is a fault with it.

If you aren't getting any dropouts, then there is no problem. Ignore it unless you find you're having Internet connection issues.
