Ebay question

Hi

I ordered a item from ebay and it came advertised with 2 free cd full of pics, songs and games.

It was a datacable for my new phone.

Delivery was great but it came with no cds as advertised.

Would it be right to complain to ebay?

Have you complained to the seller first and if so what has he / she said?

No, you should contact the seller 1st.

If the CDs aren't for some reason available, you want them then the seller is offerring the correct recourse a refund. Accept that, and by all means (I'd suggest after you have the refund) give a negative rep mark for iincorrect goods description. I wouldn't trouible ebay themselves with it as there is a resolution being oferred to you.

Given the fact that the "free" CDs are probably of dubious legality it might be unwise to draw attention to the fact that you would like to buy them. Just send a message again to the seller saying how happy you are, and how much you would LIKE to leave them a positive rep - but you would appreciate them providing you with the CDs as promised before you do. If they refuse, then you can red rep them if you wish or return the cable for a refund (presumably minus the postage costs you have already paid and the ones to send it back).

I have bought one of these before for my Nokia phone. Although i doubt their complete legality, they are quite good.

The only thing you can do really is wait and see if they will send you it out. If they don't leave them a neutral or even a neg if they are nasty about it.

By them saying it is 'free' doesn't give eBay anyway to get involved anyway, it's not 'paid for', so they don't have an obligation to send it out.

Keep on at the seller, see what they say. And keep us updated in this thread.:)

If yours is a nokia i could send you the zip files i have.
