Blueyonder broadband and wireless connection problems

I have Blueyonder as my ISP and have a webstar 'Scietific Atlanta 100' cable modem, the cable modem is attached to my Netgear WRG614v4 router via the ethernet connection as I didn't have any luck using USB. My son has his computer connected using a Netgear WG111 USB key and also a Netgear ethernet bridge for his X-Box, his X-Box connection appears to be ok but the wireless connection to his computer is constantly dropping out and re-establishing itself. It had been working ok up until the last few weeks, I've tried updating all the necessary drivers and firmware but have been unsuccessful with upgrading the Webstar modem drivers as the modem properties do not show up in the device manager under network adapters unless the usb connection between the router and modem is plugged in and then of course the internet won't work. Blueyonder haven't exactly been any help as they say they don't support wireless networks yet but they still advertise setting up with Netgear products. Does anyone have any ideas?.

Can you try setting a different channel for the wireless frequency? It may be that you or a near neighbour has added something that is causing a little interference.

Rob C, forgive my ignorance I've changed from channel 11 to channel 13 on my router do I need to make any other changes. My son is currently monitoring the connection in his room to see if it continues to dropout.
