Wireless connection frequent dropouts
Hi to all, I'm new to this forum. I have a Webstar 100 modem connected by ethernet to a Netgear 614v4 router. My son's computer is connected wirelessly and he also uses an ehternet bridge for his x-box, his x-box connection generally seems ok but his wireless connection to this computer using a Netgear USB key has been dropping intermittently for some time, I have upgraded the firmware to the router but have had problems trying to upgrade the webstar modem drivers. When I go to the system properties and device manager the webstar modem does not display under the network adapters unless the usb cable is plugged in and then that causes problems with the ethernet connection. Any help would be appreciated.:dunce:
