My New Provider
Is HomeChoice http://www.homechoice.co.uk
After a minor hitch at the start speeds are good: Code:
Downstream 7126 Kbps (890.8 KB/sec) 7696 Kbps (inc. overheads) Pinging www.jolt.co.uk [82.133.85.65] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 82.133.85.65: bytes=32 time=9ms TTL=49 Reply from 82.133.85.65: bytes=32 time=9ms TTL=49 Reply from 82.133.85.65: bytes=32 time=8ms TTL=49 Reply from 82.133.85.65: bytes=32 time=7ms TTL=49 Pleased so far, speeds consistent throughout yesterday and no trace of instability that you can see with ADSL. Not too shabby for £30/month along with basic TV over DSL and VOD package :) Picture quality on TV is excellent too! Roll on ADSL2+ :) |

Re: My New Provider
I've always wondered with homechoice, is the TV bandwidth shared with the internet connection, or are they both seperate? I mean, for example, if you're downloading something big would the picture break up on the TV?

TV can affect internet though. I synch up pretty high as I'm nice and close to exchange and not seeing any real impact. |
