service upgrade question?
 

Hellooooo,

Just had a look at the ntl service upgrade page to see what services are available and I get 2 options.

1st is ntl 2mb package priced at £24.99 and the 2nd is called bund03 service which has no price next to it, if I choose bund03 will my service change and will my payments be higher?

BUND03 is the Up to 10Mb service, currently priced at £37.99 per month.

(up to) 10MB or (up to) 5MB, depending whether you get Broadband through a stand-alone modem or set top box (same price though), and price reducing to £34.99 early next year.

Cheers guys, I wasn't sure.

However, I think NTL should update that part of their website as it could be misleading to others.

NTL do need to sort thier billing out.
I was being charged £24.99 for a 3Mb line since they introduced them. I upgradted to a 10Mb line and my bill went to £37.99, and now they are reducing the bill to £34.99

Will they reduce this further to compete with Bulldog? Sure hope so...
£35 for a capped line is not on, even if it is 'up to' 10Mb.
Drop the cap and charge me £35, no problems.

Bulldogs alright if you live in London, however the max speed I could achieve with them is 1Mbps, ooo, wow.

Now you can:

• uses your current BT line
• automatic transfer to your 8 meg service as soon as it's ready
• 4 email accounts with virus and spam protection
• 1 month contract
• £9.75 per month (our standard AllTime 1000 product usually costs £19.50 per month)
• £1 connection instead of the usual £50

Youââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢ll have it within approximately 7 to 9 working days.

I think I'll stick to NTL, despite the price difference.
