Sloooooooooooooow Connection
 

Does anybody know if there are issues in the CM18 area. For the last couple of days my 2Mb has been like 56Kb connection.

Just read through the 10Mb connection thread, I guess that there must be lots of 10MB people in my area and there is not enough bandwidth to go around. I always thought that the free 10Mb offer from NTL was a bit like the old 3 card trick. We will make you believe that it's there, but in reality it's not. Guess I may as well get myself down to 1Mb and save a bit of money with no real loss of performance.

my connection in the Stafford area : ST16... is also very slow

Lots of packet loss at the UBR, inability to sustain a stable connection, bad pings to the UBR and slow speeds.

I'm at a loss aswell.
In Glasgow
NTL Home 120
And since the upgrade to 10mb my connection has been up and down, but more down.

Mornings i get download speeds of 800kb, nights i get 100kb
Crap since i work days :-/

My connection is dog slow as well - I'm in Basingstoke / Hampshire

I'm on slow speeds tonight as well. Been like it for two days. Especially in the evening.:mad:

Mine has been like it all day, it's like a dog with 2 legs.
