NTL Email setup.
 

Hi,

Wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction here.

When I originaly activated my Broadband connection through the Auto reg page I cut short on setting up the NTL email address part.

Does anyone have an idea how I can create actvate/setup the Ntl email address ?? It would be helpfull to have this now.

in outlook express or outlook, settings are:
Mail out: smtp.ntlworld.com
+
Mail in: pop.ntlworld.com

go to https://autoreg.autoregister.net/ click on the broadband option to register

you'll need your pid number and surname lol

serial number to use is : ntl-ct8-cb487

Yep got that bit thanks.. Just need to activate(setup) the account on the NTL mail servers i.e create the pop3 account and mail box on the server side.
You do this normaly when you first activate your connection by choseing a email address name.

I had to skip this when I set things up initialy. :erm:

Best to follow Marge's post above, or ring NTL CS on 0800-052-2000 and explain things, they should help you sort it out while you're on the 'phone.
