Help - Screwed Up Router Connection !!!
I made the mistake of fiddling with the IP addresses (via http://192.168.2.1) on my Belkin wireless router in order to boost P2P performance ......... now I can't make it work !!!
It's a F5D7230-4 Wireless G Router and I just want it back to where it was before ....... stuff the P2P ! I've tried to reset it to Factory Settings via the reset button and then re-installing it via the CD Installation Wizzard but it keeps coming up with "Unable To Communicate To Router". I've re-connected the Ethernet feed from my NTL set-top box directly to my PC and everything is fine so I know its not the cable or an NTL problem but how do I get the Router to take the feed ? Any ideas/help appreciated ! |
Re: Help - Screwed Up Router Connection !!!
Have you tried a hard reset by unplugging the router , holding the reset button in while you plug it back in ?

No ....... wasn't aware of such a thing !!!
Contacted Belkin Support by email and they suggested the same thing just after you did and ...... it worked !!! Many thanks. |
