NTL 120 modem,no upgrade firmware and no hit to the cable modem

Hi can someone shed any light,

Last friday my friend at NTL enabled my account for 10meg, well it never happened i was still on 3meg, i wasn't to worried as i knew my 120modem couldn't hack the speed without firmware upgrade. Anyway today i told him to change it back to 3meg, and he said there is no 3meg package anymore, so i said put it to 2meg and when (if i get the hit) i could go on the upgrade page and do it manually to 10meg, so he has, then i read that new firmware was rolled out last night for 120modems, so this morning unplugged it as it was still on old one and still no joy, no 10meg,no 2meg to try manual and no new firmware

here's my cable status:
Network Access : EnabledMaximum Downstream Data Rate : 3072000 bpsMaximum Upstream Data Rate : 300000 bpsMaximum Number of CPEs : 1Software Upgrade File Name : ntlhm120_ntl0001.cprSoftware Upgrade AdminStatus : ignoreProvisioningUpgradeSoftware Upgrade OperStatus : completeFromMgt

sounds like your friend at ntl doesn't know what he is doing... your cable modem is still on 3meg.

well he said my account is now listed as 2meg,lol and if i get 3meg speeds not to worry i'll only pay for 2meg, which is not ideal really is it, so would like it sorted

SO what about the 120modem upgrade do you know if that was a national rollout or to people only with the 10meg upgrade
