How to convincee them to send out new modem

I have a terayon tj210 and I dont trust it with the new 10mb so I want to convince them to send me out the new ntl250... I tried earlier but I said only the pc light was out so he could say that it was my connection to pc so next time should I say the modem is completely dead?

Why aren't you convinced? Personally, things like this annoy me - ntl will have to shell out approx £80 because of your whim.

because I am getting mixed messages if either the terayon can take the 10mb or not

Trust is not really relevant. If the modem works at 10 meg then there is no reason to change it, if it doesn't then ntl will change it anyway.

I dont have 10mb (3 denies :P) cos theres a 50/50 arguement either my modem can do it or not... and I would rather have them replace it now then wait till christmas when everythings a rush and they will take ages to come out

It will either be on a first come first served or on a regional rollout basis.
If your connection is up and running you should not expect any increase in priority.

Sorry, I can see no reason to allow this thread to continue ... firstly because the OP is trying to get NTL to give him a new modem by dishonest means, and secondly because this is yet another 10Mb thread slipping in by the back door and we have plenty of those already.

Thread closed.
