Network Error
 

Windows 2k Pro and Win98 for networking. In network neighbourhood, client computers can be seen but, while double click the computer I have receive error message as: \\computer is not accessible. The network path was not found.

Is that from the W98 to the W2K computers by any chance ?

If so, you probably don't have netbios over tcp enabled on the W2K network connections.

Also make sure that any firewalls installed on the computers are allowing local network connections to go through or else you wont be able to access the other PC.

and a user account is needed on the win2k machine unless you enable guest access
