DNS up the spout?

Lot's of websites are not found this evening. I think the DNS is broken here. Anyone else having problems?

[whoops wrong forum - sorry]

No Probs, been moved now, no harm done. ;)

Re: DNS up the spout?

OK tonight, but I had a lot of 'not founds' late last night. A stop/start of the browser seemed to clear it. DNS seems to be fragile, if not actually broken.

Re: DNS up the spout?

Most sites seem OK at the moment, but I can't seem to get onto the DigitalSpy Forums, and

http://www.msi.com.tw seems to be down....

Can anyone get onto the MSI site?

Re: DNS up the spout?

Yep I can get there, but not using NTL DNS ... need something ??

Re: DNS up the spout?

Yeah, I did actually - Drivers for a MB - MS-6322, well just the Video Driver actually....

Which DNS are you using then?

Re: DNS up the spout?

I'm using pipex DNS from work ... you on messenger ?

Re: DNS up the spout?

Actually, I wasn't using the NTL DNS at the time - I changed it a while ago - I think to the Demon ones, I've tried going back to NTL's but still nothing.....

Just a shame the DNS still ain't as great.....

Is there actually a problem that has been acknowledged?

Re: DNS up the spout?

Hi,
I'm connected to NTL 1MB broadband, sometimes I have problems connecting to my regular sites.Would this have anything to do with 'DNS'.

If so,how do I specify another 'DNS'. I am using XP Pro.

Any help greatly appreciated. :)

Re: DNS up the spout?

It's been really bad tonight, I've tried several different DNS servers and several proxy's. Starting to wonder if it's something to do with port blocking.

Re: DNS up the spout?

Try these DNS's

192.42.224.130
192.42.224.131
