Server Not Loading
hello all!
since about midnight last night, myself and everyone else i know in leeds on NTL have not been able to access any website on my server, we can get access to ftp and other ports but port 80 just gives connection failed, i can ping the server and do a traceroute and everything works but when accessing the website i get connection error i have spoken to my hosts who have checked there logs and have no i.p. bannings from anywhere in my i.p range and report no problems, i have also tryed to access the website from other computers and isps and it works which leads me to think its an ntl problem some domains on my server are www.auctionomatic.com and www.mpandrich.co.uk (this is a reseller account and these domains are my customers so are not too happy to have there domains not accessable by some people) if this is an NTL problem what number do i report it to (im currently at work and dont get home till 11pm so would like to get this sorted as soon as possible) thanks for reading Dom - Quozt |
Re: Server Not Loading
If this is affecting only client PCs on NTL, then the problem is likely to be with one of the transparent web proxy cache servers that NTL run at each network area centre.

Re: Server Not Loading
the site was working fine until midnight last night and its not just one site, its all the sites on the server, what can i do to resolve this?

Re: Server Not Loading
Looks like leed-cache-5.server.ntli.net is the problem, working for other sites so it's a specific block.
