Noticed that theres 3 of them i may get (The ones with a * after them), that means i have 6 months of live for free, hope it will be added to my current subscription.

I could have thought IC that each 2 months trial would be connected to a specific GamerTag. That is each trial code you get will make you sign up for a new GamerTag.

This sounds cool, but has amny draw back, esp adding all your friends to your new GT!

Also, this would mean MS can only report number of accounts that have been sold, not the number of people on XBL (although this is probably already aplay, I'd like to know the number of active XBL accounts tho...)

nah, they'll be tied to your Xbox s/n I suspect. MS are that stupid.

these are the t&c's for the offer:

I think that reading between the line that the offer only applies to NEW subs and not existing ones. It is only valid till the end of march any way so the only way your going to get the six months is to run them concurrently.

You will have to remember to cancel them as well.

I don't think gamertags/subscriptions are tied to an Xbox serial number. What about a family, where there is one xbox, and several people want their own tag?

I'm sure M$ don't care as long as you have independant tags/subscriptions.

If you've already got a tag, then this offer won't give you anything, unless (for some reason) you want to have a 2nd (free) tag for a couple of months!?

But then what? continue paying for a 2nd TAG (what's the point)

If you want to do some dedicated hosting from another location (say for intance, work) then it's very useful. :D

There is absolutely no restriction on using your Live account on more than one XBox. However, you do need to reactivate the account on the new machine, and you can`t use it on more than one machine at the same time.

I think that means you can't run one offer after the other concurrently. When you register, they take a note of ur Xbox Serial number. They wont let you do it more than once. And lets be honest, 40 notes a year aint much.
