setting up a wireless network with ntl cable broadband

Basically im stuck, i have a belkin modem router which has worked fine for me with telephone line broadband, but doesnt work with ntl cable. I dont know if i have to run their modem through my router or not, if not i cant see how to physically access the cable line in the house, if so i dont how to wire them up or what i need, any help would be appreciated, thanks

:welcome: Unfortunately, you can't use an ADSL modem/router with cable. You need a router without built-in modem. Sorry 'bout that.

What you will need is a normal Cable router, without ADSL modem.
The NTL modem will plug into the router Internet port and then each PC will connect to the router.
You can get a Linksys Wired router for about £25 or you can go for wireless routers. This guide here reccomends both wired and wireless routers that work on the NTL network:
