BT Internet Mail?
I was previously on BT internet (not very good) then I switched to NTL (much better). I logged into BT Yahoo just fineââ‚ ¬Ã‚¦ When I went to click mail it came up with a load of well †¦ carp †¦ I then used firefox then it wanted me to download a login thing which was absolutely nothingââ‚à ‚¬Ã‚¦ Is it NTL or BT thatââ‚ ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s blocking the pageââ‚ ¬Ã‚¦ my guess its BT but any feedback appreciated
P.S. I need to loging to discontinue my service with BT Internet. |
Re: BT Internet Mail?
Hi and :welcome:
I have a standard Yahoo account ie: name***@yahoo.co.uk is yours the same? If so you have a very odd problem. If it has a BT element to the address it may well be linked to the account in which case I'm sure someone with far more savvy will be along to help shortly.:) |
Re: BT Internet Mail?
Hi Matt,
Basically BT's email is now looked after by Yahoo (when you log into your BT email, you actually now access a Yahoo website). I think the problem you're experiencing is not because it's being blocked but due to ntl:'s proxy server. It's a problem that comes up every now and then with the Yahoo site. Try changing your proxy server in Firefox (a list of proxy servers are available here). Also see here for instructions on how to configure Firefox if you're not sure :) Ben |
