Delayed audio (echo)
When I was watching ntl last night I kept thinking I could hear another conversation, perhaps from outside, or the flat next door. It was sending me slightly mad.
This morning I noticed that it's actually the audio of the ntl channel I'm watching being repeated, quietly, about a second behind the normal audio. This is happening on ITV, C4 and possibly others. Now, it might be a coincidence, but I had an engineer around on tuesday to fix some picture breakup and audio sync issues. He fixed the connector on the cable going into the STB and boosted the signal at the cabinet because it's crowded and I'm on a 2 or 3-way splitter. I didn't notice the problem that day though. I've rebooted the STB and it's still doing it. Is this an ntl problem affecting others (I'm in the CB1 postcode) or is something wrong with my service? Paul |
Re: Delayed audio (echo)
make sure your scart leads are plugged in good and tight. Sounds to me like your getting the digital sound and a low level analogue sound together

Re: Delayed audio (echo)
Ahh sounds like feedback from a strong rf channel. Try putting your tv onto a blank channel then switching to AV. Should improve it.
Interestingly enough most people never notice this unless they are tuned to the same channel on rf and on dtv. Its not a ntl fault as it happens on sky and I also get some feedback from strong rf channels when I'm watching dvds on AV. |

Hopefully that's it, I'll keep an ear out for it. Thanks! |
