NTL - Which area?
 
Hi,

How do i find out what NTL area I'm in?

I live in Basingstoke.

What do you see when you click on the "connection" menu item at the top of the forum page?

Presume you mean Bromley (fomer Cable & Wireless) or Langley ('original' NTL)?

Look at the Set Top Box. If BBC1 is on Channel 1, it's Bromley, if it's 101, it's Langley.

I've never seen that before, however for me it says "You do not appear to be an NTL Customer " It should know im at work :D

You're in the Thames Valley area, fed from the Reading headend, on the Langley platform.

Don't have anything on Ch1 and the box only goes up to 50 or so...

BTW - I'm on the old analog cable!
