Difference between Pace 4001 and Samsung

My pace starts switching off on its own and crashing quite often. Even though i dont watch TV that much, its actually annoying when i do.

I've read on here about the Samsumg. What is the major difference and why is it better?

I currently have the Pace 4001 with a cable modem.

Thanks

Re: Difference between Pace 4001 and Samsung

Apart from being more stable & handling faster internet speeds (on the Bromley platform, they get BB thru the STB) Not a lot. They are a more solid box & have all the same features as the Pace. However, unless ANY STB,be it Pace or Samsung,is installed properly(having the Signal Readings checked/adjusted & connectors/cabling checked/replaced) problems will still occur, albeit less likely with the Samsung.
Mind you, even if you book a fault & ask for a Samsung replacement for your Pace, dont be upset if you dont get a Samsung as it's not up to the tech but what he gets issued from stores.(we did'nt have Samsung STB's here for near on 6 months)
