Ntl Tv Stopped Working!!
 

Came back home this afternoon and my pace box is displaying "tune".
Attempted to reboot box to no avail!

Live in Lichfield area.

Any help would be appreciated!

I suspect you're going to have to call them! When you rebooted, did you switch it off at the mains and wait a minute before switching on again?

Yes, i did, but it just displayed the "tune" message!

Definitely phone them. You never know, your box might have died. You might get a Samsung. :D On the other hand, it might just be a local fault they fix without calling at your house. Either way, the first thing to do is to call faults.

Hi there some pace boxes mostly the 4000 boxes when they cracsh and you turn them back on they can stay ostuck on tune foe about 30 min, but like criss T said if not you need to call ntl

Mine got stuck on Tune on Monday. Gave them a call, Engineer out yesterday, and diagnosed a knackered box.

freaky - same thing happened to me a few days ago. Engineer came round Monday and replaced old pace box with shiny new samsung box :woot:

I'm just down the road in Tamworth.
My box has just rebooted itself with a message about a software update. Can't see any difference but it may be related to your problem. Try another reboot.

Phoned up tech support - engineer coming out.

They said for a temp fix that i could hold down the down button on the box while it is rebooting and that should do the trick!

Sounds interesting to me, but it has failed to work!
