Problems using my ftp
 

Finally got around to setting up my FTP space but it just hangs with message beginning FTP action.

Any ideas?

NTL CS told me to just enter it into IE6 and it should load?

euch never trust IE for FTP tbh. Try this client www.smartftp.com its a freebie and good at what it does.

hmm i dont have access, have never bothered with it. However using a Dummy username and password i seem to be able to get as far as Authentication so the server itself is ok.

ntl ftp is fine here, I am using filezilla for the transfer, which is free, make sure you have the right username, password and port open.

All sorted,according to NTL my account didnt exist so there was nothing they could do.I asked for all the money i had paid for phone/BB/TV over the last 7 years then as i shouldnt have paid for it because i dont exist.

Was fixed within 15 minutes.
