netgear wgt624 router
 
i am using ntl and i just bought a netgear wgt624 router together with a WG311 Adapter 3 weeks ago ,after i set them up and used them they always disconnect and most the time i have to run downstarts and restart the router (if i dont restart the router they will stay disconnected forever) ,and the signal sth is always either v.good or execellent.Can someone plss tell me what is problem ??

Try updating to the latest firmware for the router..................I had a similar problem with another NG Router.

isn't wgt624v3 the latest firmware? i'm using wgt624v3.

No, thats the model of the router.

Try this page and see the firmware section at the top left. You'll need to check your version in the Router page (IP address supplied with your router), and download and update with the new version.

ahah i just up date the firmware and it lead to another problem .... not i am not able to login to my router ...

Seriously, i'd take it up with Netgear based on the link posted by pedantic.

I've updated my old Netgear router a few times, but not had any problems.

but sometimes it did disconnect and require a reset on the router.... it just wont reconnect itself ....:( :(
