Using Medion DVD HDD player
I apologise if this thread is in the wrong section!
I am trying to set up a Medion HDD player using a Samsung NTL box. There is a channel scan with the Medion but I seem to be able to get only analogue channels and have no idea how to pick up the cable output. Is anyone an expert on this? Eric |

I dunno how you have the HDD player connected to the STB. Presumably you are using a scart lead from the STB VCR out to the HDD in. Assuming that is the case then it won't tune using the analogue channels, but you simply need to set the receiver to the Scart socket channel. Scart channels can be described by AV, EU, L or other symbols. If you have it connected by coaxial aerial lead, then there will only be the one signal outputted by the STB, It's best to tune that to channel "0" To change the NTL channel being received you have to change channels on the STB, not your HDD. moved to ntl TV discussion |
