integrating Joomla, Coppermine and SMF... urgh.
 

evening all

I've spent the afternoon trying to integrate CPG and SMF into Joomla.

Everything was going swimmingly, but after completing the installation I now cannot access SMF at all

and also cannot access CPG:

anyone got an idea where i am going wrong??

CPG and SMF I know fairly well.. but Joomla?? I'll do some reading and come back :)

joomla used to be called mambo if that helps...

First question.. Does your host allow more than one MySQL database?

yup, however from what i gather, all three should be connecting to the same database, but have different prefixes...

(can you tell i don't know much about this stuff :p:

I managed to have all three running from the same database with no problems, but it was when i tried integrating them that the problems arose.

It seems to have got in a knot during the database integration but we'll figure it out once we go over the changes in a bit more detail.
