Delete unnecessary files

Is there anything I can download to delete unnecessary files, files I don't need. A wizard ideally that will do it for me?

So I can free up space and make my lap top more tidy.

Its just that I seem to have a lot of files I just don't use.

TIA

you could try jv16

- the last free version is available from the link

http://www.downloadcounter.com/cgi-b...21dl&account=1

- newer versions are no longer free, but it has tools for finding duplicate files etc, just be careful if you use any of the registry tools (backup first) ;)
