Robotic racers gear up for desert

Quote:

The US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (Darpa) challenging competition offers a $2m (£1.1m) prize.

But the vehicles have to negotiate 240km of tough rocky and hilly terrain on their own. Last year, none finished.

So do we have a CF entry? That prize would do the site up a treat. ;)

Re: Robotic racers gear up for desert

A CF entry would be a bad idea... We'd spend so much time arguing somebody else would win before ours got off the start line..

:D

Interesting article though.
