Ping won't be any different though with it ? as opposed to say 512k adsl.

I just thought when he said gaming heaven he was inferring it would somehow provide better gaming having a fatter pipe. If he just meant he'd be able to host a larger server fair enough. Not sure I'd call it gaming heaven being able to host a 16 player server as opposed to 8 though.

I think it would be ab bliss to host the full capacity of a game as opposed to a smalller number.

At the mo on my 1Mb NTL line I can host 6-8 game servers. If I had increased upload (this was my point in this thread) then I would host the full 16 :drool:

What about when Halo2 comes out...with 32 players (wehope!) ....:bigdrool!:

I'm quite happy with my download...but it's upload that counts for server heaven!

Is it possible to hire XBOX servers? Or PC's with XBOX servers attached to them?

If so, what's the point!...cause no XBL game comes with remote admin yet!???

I'll just wait for Bulldog to be available in my area which it would appear C2 uses anyway. A mate at work is using them and is quite happy with the service for his Quake games.
