Spam/Junk Mail

I use webmail and avoid Outlook Express so as not to download viruses.

Is there a way of removing email addresses from the senders of spam without it generating 10 times more?

Whatever you do NEVER, EVER reply to a spam email that offers a way to unsubscribe!

After all, you never subscribed, so why should you unsubscribe?

All it does, if you do reply, is to validate your email address. It then becomes more valuable to the spammer and spam traffic will increase 100 fold!

Who's your email provider? Do they not provide spam control with the package?

If not then I'd recommend wither changing your provider (my recommendation if you want it to be free is Yahoo, works great for me) and/or start to use an email client with spam control, outlook, thunder-bird, Eudora. :)
