Any idea on the charge per minute for 0845 : 0870 numbers.

Ntl website just timed out when i tried to check.

0870 companies can charge what they like can't they above what the telephone provider basic charge?

Nope the charges are fixed by the telco, all calls to that sort of number (eg 0870) are charged a t the same price. :)
