Ha ah aha ha. Bloody spongers.
If this goes to appeal and she wins, I'm leaving the country for good. I'm SICK of working 50+ hours a week, paying my taxes and having nothing left to show for it all for parasites like her...

Re: Ha ah aha ha. Bloody spongers.
How does she get £37.500 in state benefits we have two wages coming in earning less than she gets and still have to pay all the taxes and backdoor taxes labour have worked in on is.
I feel that if they have state benefits perhaps they should spend 40hours a week doing community services for this money, helping the handicapped, sweeping streets something to make it look like they are working for this money. |
Re: Ha ah aha ha. Bloody spongers.
Whilst on benefit and you get a little trip like this, you ever tried declaring that income, they mess your benefits about and when your little trip ends, which this was obviously going to, you try getting your benefits back to normal, its so much hassle its unreal.
£3800 but has to return £4879 ? I wonder if those payments also had to cover some of her costs to attend the events ? and also £2500 in costs, its a shame the system is the way it is, it is because of that that many who do get some one of extra just dont declare it. Did you know if your on benefit and have a credit card and a mortgaged house, you use the credit card to pay for home improvements, because you cannot get a loan in your current circumstances, then sell the house to pay the debts, you actually cannot legally settle the credit card you have to use that money to live on ? |

This is where the welfare state falls down.
£37,000 in benefits - how can that be justified. |

Must be on some sort of disability ****-take to get that much in benefits each year. Don't let it be as poisonous as it seems - most benefits claimants don't want to be in the position they're in, and most scrape by on £4/5000 a year.

Re: Ha ah aha ha. Bloody spongers.
The trouble is normal people really is in the same boat, most suffer to some extent at the hands of who ever is in government, and that brings about this attitude, if I have to suffer so should they, and thereby come vague judgments from many who have the least facts available.
Workfare pretty much exists, you only get so long on unemployment before you must take some job and that is often instigated with benefit incentives to take the job. the rest are either unfit for work, with some who do cheat. The real problem is with those unfit for a job theyve performed for most of their working lives, retraining to a more suitable postition is practically impossible under curent benefit law. And ye you could make all those suffering ill health to return to work of some form or other, but as their performance is likely to not be up to scratch, no employer can afford to take them on as they are a financial liability in a strictly capitalist and performance based society. However many of those unfit are likely to have way more intelligence than many who are in work. |

Here's a breakdown of their benefits: (Figures courtesy fo the Rochdale Observer...) Child benefit £4,747. 60 Carers' allowance (for a child who has chronic asthma) £5,691. 40 Disability living allowance (for the same child) £5,051. 80 Disability allowance (for another child with chronic asthma) £3,754. 40 Income support (Mrs Bardsley and children) £13,710 .84 Incapacity benefit (for Mr Bardsley who has had depression since his father died six years ago) £4,446. 00 My brother has had asthma since he was 5 - nearly died twice in fact. My parents both worked. My brother works (and smokes coincidently), and has done since he was 16.. I didn't notice Lizzie gasping for breath on the show, nor at any of the other PAs she's made since. She hasn't worked in 11 years either, but still continues to drop the sprogs too. I get depressed sometimes, just like her husband has. My best friend died when I was 19. And I haven't claimed a days benefit in my life. They are spongers, pure and simple. |
Re: Ha ah aha ha. Bloody spongers.
