Microsoft Word - Numbering
Hi, Im using the numbering function in word to list something, all goes well till i get to 10. when it decides from there on out that its going to make me leave a large space!
How do I stop this? TIA |
Re: Microsoft Word - Numbering
Have you been to Insert, then down to page numbers?

Re: Microsoft Word - Numbering
The better way to list anything in word is by using bullets

Having said that, the automatic numbering feature of Word is one of the most frustrating things, ever! |
Re: Microsoft Word - Numbering
yep especially when having used it once and have a list like 1,2,3,4,5,6. Then another paragraph then needing to number again from 1 but it won't let you and always wants put next number as 7

Re: Microsoft Word - Numbering
Meh, you are right, it is the single worst thing ever! I had to use numbering, the only way I got round it was to bring all the others out to the same level as 10+
Looks really shoddy though |
Re: Microsoft Word - Numbering
I just switch the so-called "helpful" automatic settings off and do it manually setting tabs and indents.
It saves a lot of frustration! :grind: |
