Memory Question
I have a dell Poweredge 800 server that currently has 512mb in 2x256mb ddr2 modules.
Crucials website spec says it should be DDR2 PC2-4200 CL=4 UNBUFFERED ECC DDR2-533 and that it should be put in in 2x modules. Ebuyer lists a few 256mb DDR2 modules particularly this one Viking 256MB DDR2 533MHz PC2-4200 240pin Memory Module Now will this work even though its not ECC? Will I be able to use 1x 512mb or do I have to split it into 2 modules? Many thanks hm |
