Switching from set-top box to modem

Hi all!

I currently have NTL broadband through a set-top box, problem is anytime the box plays up i need to reset it which disrupts the internet and whoever is watching TV.

I know some people have NTL broadband through a modem. Is there anywhere i can buy one? Or one someone can recommend. And if anyone knows if it would plug into my phone socket or somewhere esle?

Thanks

:welcome: to CableForum!

If you want a Cable Modem, you will need to phone NTL. They will supply it.

The installer would connect it to the same cable your STB is connected to.
