Analogue pass through is it on all stbs ?

I've had my ntl digi box for about 5 years and it's finally given up the ghost, so I have an engineer coming around tommorow to replace it :)

My current box gives you the ability to tune in channels 1-5 on the tv as wellas the cable channel and I use this to supply the rest of the tv's in the house with the terestrial channels, question is do all the new stb's have this feature I'm sure a friend of mine has one which doesn't do this ? .

Any advice would be good as our old aerial was removed so if nothing can be done it'll be new aerial time :(

hi mrfly :welcome:

it depends where you live, and what the engineer has in the van.

you will have to make sure you talk to him about it before he swaps your box :)
