Yahoo Mail error

Right, I'm round a friends house and his father is having problems with accessing the Yahoo! mail login page... Well, he can view it fine, but when processing the login process, it cocks up somehow. It tells me to download "login" which is "application/octet-stream" - No idea wth that means...

Anyone give a hand?

I've already tried in IE and same problem. Checked the downloads preferences but that seems normal...

Regards,
Dan/LBA

don't this is a virus,

I got this a year ago.

I had to do a clean install of my browser, and change my proxy

even if you do download the LOGIN thing, it never works, and if it does it only works once, then you need to download it again.

I done this and found out it was a virus, once downloaded and running my AV kicked in, thank god.

I did get in to yahoo with IE but only for a few weeks, when I got rid of my cache, temp files, and stuff like that.

I must admit I got this problem originally with FF, and when I upgraded to a new version, at the time it was version 0.7, I got 0.8 then changed proxies just to make sure, then I never needed to get that damn LOGIN thing. never had a problem since.
