Am I safe in the hands of ntl?

Hello everyone. I'm new here. I just subscribed for ntl broadband 2 weeks ago @ £17/month. I just want to know if there are any hidden charges apart from the £17 monthly fee. They set up a direct debit on my account and I'm really scared that I'll just get my statement at the end of the month and find they've deducted much more than £17. Please confirm or allay my fears. Thanks.

You may find your 1st payment may be part month plus one month in advance.

:welcome: to cable forum BTW.

Your thread title made me smile. As long as you don't ask them to perform open heart surgery, then you're probably safe in their hands.
