Tech Q. about BF2
 

Hey guys

I cannot get BF2 to work on my PC/Connection. I have emailed EA after exhaustively trying to fix it myself to which they claim the ISP(in my case NTL) may have blocked ports required for online gaming.

Anyone know if any of these ports are blocked by NTL?

UDP ports:
27900
29900
29910
27901
55123
55124
55215
16567
1500-4999
TCP ports:
80
29900
29901
29920
28910
4711

I cannot have them blocked my end as I have the firewall dissabled.

Any ideas?

Im on NTL as are many others on here that can play BF2 ok so im imagining thats not your problem

Do you have anything like Peer Guardian installed? I had that and it stopped me playing BF2, even when diasabled. Removed it and BF2 works a treat now.
