Connecting to a Terminal Server

i am having problems connecting to a terminal server i have just set up at work, it's OK connecting from a BT B/B account but i have NTL and people tell me that its something to do with the IP addresses???

im trying to use remote desktop to connect on a WXP home PC. get an error message about licencing protocol.

any ideas anyone?
