Paying ntl bill online
 

hi,

i have been looking into paying my ntl bill online, i bank with rbs and am a bit confused with something. when i am setting up the instruction there appears to be a number of options for ntl that you can see in the pic, which one do i choose? or can i simply set it all up manually, ie just enter ntl into the payee field if i select "other" from the list?

also, on the back of my bill it says the ntl account number is "00000000", is that also correct? thanks.

Does your bill have no information on it that clarifies which NTL area you fall under for billing? A quick call to NTL CS before it gets busy may get you all the necessary information to complete the online payment form.

nope, no info at all, just an account number and sort code. cant phone them caus i have no phone at home. :P

How do you normally pay your bill then? It might show up part of the information you need on your bank statement.

i normally just take the giro slip to the po and pay, therefore it would not show up on my bank statement, i do not like paying by dd as i never know when my money will be in the bank.....

On the giro slips you use to pay into the PO, by the bar code, there should be a longish number, sometimes part letters, part numbers, this may help identify your details?

well, i just paid my bill last week so no longer have the giro slip, i'll give cs a call and see what they say.....
