Problem with Nokia 3220 USB Data Cable
Hey all,
Yesterday I bought a Nokia data cable for my 3220. It didn't come with a software CD, so I have downloaded and installed Nokia PC Suite and the driver for the DKU-2 data cable, both from the Nokia website. I made sure that I uninstalled any previous Nokia drivers, and that I rebooted the PC before and after installation, and before connecting the cable or the phone. However, despite all this, when I do connect the phone, I get a message telling me that the USB device has malfuctioned, and that the device is not recognised, with no driver having been installed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver with no success. Is there a particular method to get this to work, or particular place where I should be installing the driver for it to be recognised? Or can anyone suggest alternative software which they've had success with? Many thanks in advance, Browneggsandham :) |

Re: Problem with Nokia 3220 USB Data Cable
i had a similar problem with my n95 and had to delete all files relating to nokia and also remove the drivers and pc suite, software then reboot and after that i had to run the software then connect the phone when told to by the software.
also dependent on what version of windows you are running so you will also need to enable view hidden folders. also sounds stupid but make sure that you have the pc suite made for that phone and that you select the right option on the phone |
Re: Problem with Nokia 3220 USB Data Cable
Hi! I have a data cable which works very fine with my Nokia 2112 model but when I connect this data cable with my Nokia 6070 it gives a message 'Enhancement not supported'. Even the same message is given when I connect the hands free cable currently. Previously the hands free and this data cable worked very well in Nokia 6070.
Can any one help me in this regard?? |
