TV Problems tonight
For some reason our stb has started going mad tonight. I was watching Lake Placid and towards the end the box suddenly turned to channel 7 and froze for about 30 seconds. It then turned to channel 0 and the program guide had the words NO CHANNELS AV, Which I assume means no channels available. It was stuck that way for a further 30 seconds before jumping to 32 and finally allowing me to turn it back to the original channel. I managed to watch the rest of the film without problems, but the same problem is repeating if I press channel up or down two or three times. It goes to 7, then 0, then to a random channel, freezing for 30ish seconds on each of them.
If it helps I am in the Leeds area. Is this a fault or a badly timed upgrade of some sort? |

Channel changing
 On at least 4 occasions over the past 6 weeks the STB [Samsung]
has changed channels overnight. Having been set to record very early morning..2/3 am..normally ch190..it has changed to ch7,meaning lost recording.. Is this something NTL are doing??..Can I stop it happening ??.. No-one sleep walks..No children..And altho the cat is very clever...surely not!!! :) This also happened with a Pace 2000/4000  |
Re: Channel changing
Think there is another thread about this issue and it was explained as a software bug that is being worked on.
