Now and Next - time 2hrs out ?
 

Its only started today, and ive reset my Samsung STB a couple of times to try and sort out the problem but its still there.

Basically, when you press the TV button the now and next program for the current channel is out by about 2hrs.

Ie Its 1830 but the now and next tv program bar is displaying the program from 1630hrs instead of the program details for the current time.
This is on all channels.

Any ideas its very annoying.

Looks like they may have a fault in Baguley as I have had the same fault all day.

had that all day yesterday, just thought it was the usual NTL, sh*t PACE box i had

have the sama thing on my samsung box starting to get board with all these little bugs and faults it isnt good enough lets e honest

I find this happens from time to time, mostly on my old PACE STB, but still occasionally on the Samsung. It eventually resolves itself. It's one of those ntl things that you learn to put up with.

But why should we have to put up with these things when we are paying top dollar for theses services and they are sh*te basically, as there are more than just this issue

I'm not saying we have to put up with these things. I personally put up with this one.

From my perspective the whole EPG on the ntl digital system is pathetic. It's slow, timing can be wrong, and worst of all, only runs to three days. I've got used to it, but that doesn't mean that ntl shouldn't put in some effort to imporve it.

The program information is about 1 hour behind, sometimes more, usually it sorts itself out, may be after a reboot. On Sunday it didn't, I phone CS when they told me to pull the card out as well, it worked, then it happened again today, reboot twice already and it still the same. Is there anything else I can do, or is the problem with NTL?

mines done it quite a bit recently too. tis a minor annoyance! same old crap on most channels anyhow don't need to know what it is :p:

old pace 2000 box, getting swapped for a new one today for bb upgrade, thats if the engineer turns up, been waiting since 8!
