HBO MAX On The Cheap?
Can someone please look and tell me if I have got this wrong. A sub to HBO with adds is £4.99 a month. If you go to the NOW tv site they are doing a deal of HBO with adds for £2.99 a month with a 12 month contract instead of the usual £9.99 a month.
Am I right? If so it would make more sense to take out a cheap sub with NOW, rather than with HBO direct. |

Re: HBO MAX On The Cheap?
Someone on Virgin TV 360 (or willing to do a free change in software from V6 to TV 360) , there is arguably now less reason for them to subscribe to HBO Max , not for 12 whole months.
Could just subscribe for 30 days to watch The Pitt and then cancel and then maybe resubscribe in August for Lanterns This offer may only apply if you do it before 25th March ? Quote:

Why pay them ANYTHING if your still gonna get spam ads??
Geez arent we spammed enough??? |
Re: HBO MAX On The Cheap?
One thing to take into account is that HBO direct is a better picture, whereas to achieve the same, you have to pay extra to Now TV.
The Now deal (that I can see*) also includes the Sky channels, but is a 12 month contract. *What deals you are offered depends on the type of device and the browser you are using. Going incognito/private can also help too eg using a phone is usually better for holidays than a laptop (companies believe that laptop users are more affluent.) |
Re: HBO MAX On The Cheap?
I think you have to pay an extra premium to NOW - £9pm for UHD? Regular Boost is only HD quality at £6pm.

If subscribing via Now, you don't get rhe HBO app, the programmes are in the Now app. |
