Card payment on mc
 
Can anyone tell what I should see on a portable card payment m/c reason I am asking. Local barber charged me £13 for my cut, have ever checking bank it was charged at 13p before anyone asks I went back and paid it to him. Because it , I guess could have gone the other way I wonder what the screen should look like., guessing it should be 13.00 :confused:

It should show £13.00, I guess he entered it in wrong, well done on going back to pay him.

Yep, I would guess he forgot to type the two zero's in, so insteal of 13.00, he charged you 00.13

I am sure you are correct , I never really look at what is typed in must look more closely in future. think i saw 13 must look for full stop :rolleyes:

With you not looking what is typed! Imagine chaos if it said £13000 and you clicked pay.

I had an AMEX for a while, but found it a bit useless as so many places didnt take them.
In the end it finished up just being on my Paypal account, until I got around to dumping it.

They've loosened up on commission and nearly all of the places infest take AMEX. We travel a lot and the points all go towards a later travel. It's an excellent card. Get's us into the top lounges too.

We have BA Amex cards, which we use for Avios points (airmiles, 1.5 points for ever £1 spend), and we also get free Companion tickets (you just pay taxes, no fares) after a certain annual spend.

We also have a Barclaycard Avios card (for when places don’t take Amex) where we get 1 point for every £1 spend.
