Sir Alan Bates awarded Millions

Finally after years it seems Sir Alan Bates who fought the government over the post office scandal has finally been compensated . Hopefully all those involved now will get theirs. i find it truly awful they have had to wait so long for this it ruined lives and some even went to prison

The executives should have been removed if not imprisoned for this whole thing.

That should apply to everyone at the Post Office and Fujitsu who knew what was happening and covered it up.

Compensation is not justice.

No one from the Post Office, Fujitsu or the CPS had been charged, as far as I’m aware.

Incredibly the Post Office is still using Horizon and Fujitsu. Accountability stops above the shop floor.

but . . but . . they've promised to behave in future, and we all know now that an apology and promise to be a good boy gets you a lesser sentence.

Thinking about current topics, they've actually escaped from jail without even being put in one.

Why has he been awarded "millions", seems rather excessive ?

20 years in the making all the stress and ruined lives I am not so sure it was excessive personally/ The real shame is as said by others they got away with it

at least 13 people had taken their own lives
this of course no amount of payout to anyone will ever make up for
